Community Notification – Homicide – December 11, 2021 9:50pm
Incident Description:
At about 9:50 pm, the Providence Police notified the Office of Public Safety, that a shooting occurred at 89 Huxley Avenue, Providence, RI. Police are treating the ongoing investigation as a homicide. A dark colored sedan was seen fleeing away from the scene. The police believe this is not a random act. The victim has been identified and is not a Providence College student.
The Office of Public Safety urges all students, faculty, and staff to continue to be aware of their surroundings.
