Office of Public Safety

Welcome to the Providence College Office of Public Safety. We operate 24 hours a day, seven days a week, 365 days a year. Using a community policing model, the Office of Public Safety proactively patrols the campus, responds to safety concerns and criminal incidents, investigates reports of crime and traffic accidents, and collaborates with the campus community to deter and reduce crime. The mission of the Providence College Office of Public Safety is to safeguard the College community, protect private and institutional property, and prevent crime. The Office of Public Safety maintains an atmosphere of professionalism, courtesy and respect, while embracing diversity through community engagement and inclusive hiring and comprehensive training practices that enhance the overall mission of Providence College.
